It utilizes explosive yet fluent hand and foot techniques and incorporates the five animal system (Tiger, Leopard, Snake, Dragon, Crane) as well as the peripheral styles such as monkey, mantis and drunken.
Wushu is the national sport of China and is
being proposed as the new Olympic sport for the 2008 Summer
Olympics in Beiging.
Literally translated, "wu" is a military, "shu" is art. Wushu
therefore means the art of fighting, or martial arts. It is amodern
synthesis of the traditional Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Opera and
Gymnastic routines.

Tai Chi... There are many different styles of Tai Chi. The Shaolin Wushu Kung Fu Academy teaches Northern Yang style (108 step long form developed by Yang Chen Fu) one of the more widely practiced styles today. Tai Chi means “Grand Ultimate Fist”. It is mainly composed of a specific set of steps performed slowly and rhythmically. Tai Chi can be practiced successfully by anyone, regardless of age, gender or health. A daily Tai Chi routine contributes to good health and tranquility.
Fitness Kickboxing... Fitness Kickboxing combines an aerobic workout with basic martial art and boxing techniques. This is a guaranteed full body workout that sculpts your entire body and burns more calories than anything you've ever tried! This is a non-contact workout and there is no uniform required.
